What I create and have created are part of a journey to understanding my personal style. This year I've intentionally picked up a medium and continue to ask myself: what will I discover?

Looking at the works of others provides visual fuel for inspiration. Some are born with a natural well of inspiration, rarely does one never run out. Sources deplete if not replenished. Onto the next question of, how? How is inspiration replenished.

The four Instagram profiles of the artists above serve as my (recent) go-to for visual queues and clues that recharge and challenge my own ideas. Have you heard the phrase, "Standing on the shoulders of giants"? Whether it is the feel, the look, the colors of choice, or the design– another artist's exploration of a medium can stimulate an observer's own need to explore. This works for me. Be wary of plagiarism and not giving credit where it is due.
