Who I am?

Hey! It's Sam, I'm from Peru and I've been studying in Los Angeles for a year and a half. I graduated last year, my major is graphic design. I studied 3 years in Peru and transferred to Whittier college, I studied there for a year.

My first approach to art was as a child since my father's family has always been "artistic", my uncle is a graphic designer and lives in New York and I think he was the one who inspired me and helped me choose this career, I do not regret it not at all!

What I do?

As I said I'm a Graphic Designer and my favorite projects are branding and advertising. At the top of this page is my behance where I usually upload my work. I've been learning how to make 3D designs and I thing that could be my pasion but along time ago I wanted to learn some code because its part of my dayli life as a designer.

Here are some of my own favorite projects:

My favorite artists

Patrick Foley is my number one favorite artist in 3D design. His work is really impresive and looks real. I think that his best work are the cartoon.

Julian Van Bores is one of the latest artist I found on Instragram and his illustrations are amazing, well colored and profesional. I think what I like the most is the way he creates his characters and how original he is.

Objectives

Taking this class I get a little closer to what I like to do, design. I have been able to design web pages before but using tools like wix that although they are professionals I would like to know more about the programming language because it is just as important as the aesthetic part of the page, making it functional and responsive design is what makes the web page good.

When starting this asssigment I felt a little worried about not knowing what to put or how to put the information, the only thing I didn't want was to make it look like a blank sheet. I feel satisfied with what I achieved and above all I feel a little more familiar with the codes. I think that organization and order is very important for those who are just starting out like me since I am not very familiar with the codes and I easily get lost when I see many.

Bye!
