What are three websites or apps that you use every day?
Netflix
I watch a lot of shows, especially One Piece right now. I like having shows in the background while working because it helps me feel productive and gives me ambience while I study.
YouTube
I enjoy gameplay videos, informational content, and video essays. I can spend hours watching videos about random topics, especially discussions about movies and sound design.
I use Google constantly for assignments, studying, and reading. Most of my daily reading happens online, and I spend a lot of time researching topics related to school and personal interests.
What are your reasons for learning web design?
My reason for learning web design is to build new skills for the future I imagine for myself. I previously participated in a summer program where I created a portfolio website, but I only learned the basics. I hope this class helps me expand my knowledge and become more confident in designing websites.
What kind of relationship do you have with the internet?
I spend a huge amount of time online — whether reading, gaming, watching videos, or learning something new. A lot of my internet use comes from coursework and studying, but I also use it for hobbies and research.
Right now, I am especially interested in learning how to mod an iPod Classic . I’ve been researching different models and learning what tools are needed to customize one.
