Bio:

I’m deciding to learn web design so that I can provide myself with a more solid platform for my art. What I’m hoping to get out of this course is a more solid understanding of the technical side of design so that my work has the potential for more substance and not just aesthetics.

I believe that everyone has the potential to be creative. The thing that drives my creativity is my desire to constantly learn about new subjects on a constant basis. There’s always new art to make and there’s always a story to tell. I discovered that the things that have influenced me the most are the stories that I grew up with. My inspiration comes from the centuries of Latino culture that goes ignored by Western media.

I started learning 3D modeling in the Spring and in the process I learned that creating UV maps in Adobe Substance Painter is infinitely more useful for creating textures when you understand some base level of coding. I really enjoy modeling so I think this class is a valuable investment.
