The things I love shift a little over time, but it’s something I keep returning to and want to keep doing. What I love most is that it’s something I can carry with me as I grow older.

The artists I’m drawn to are quite different from me. While I tend to lean toward quiet, muted tones like white and gray, the painters and musicians I love are the opposite... full of lively colors and dazzling, expressive performances.

There are countless ways to understand the world and to express ourselves within it. Ultimately, the only barrier is the one we place on ourselves.
