Photo Comparison: GIF vs JPG vs PNG

I chose to use a photo of my dog for this comparison. I notice the GIF is the lowest quality, particuarly in the sky. You can see the different blocks of blue. The JPG seems to have the best saturation of color and details. The PNG seems to be good quality as well, but when you look at it next to the JPG you can see the subtle differences with color and detail that reveal it is slightly less high quality.
